“Stages”
She didn’t say a word today;
Though she didn’t close her eyes.
She always thinks or so she
thought; she said
the comment to her demise.

She didn’t speak a word today;
She wondered her mouth shut.
Even moreso, she thought too much,
but she couldn’t
fight the feeling in her gut.

She didn’t think a thought today
cause she decided what to do.
“Let her do what she will,”
they say.
And in she, they soon disagreed
in what they now knew.

She never spoke a word again;
she thought herself away.
“It’s finally gone,” she thought
she’d say because of what
she did yesterday.
